Mixed blue clay.
Manual harvesting, chilling of the grapes, soft destemming and maceration in cement vats with red vinification. Maturation takes place in large and small oak casks for one year, bottle-ageing for at least 6 months.
Dense with deep, dark tones. The nose is full but ethereal between sweet and welcoming sensations of dark chocolate, moist tobacco, Mediterranean warmth of sun-ripened myrtle and floral notes of iris. The palate surprises with its strong elegance, majestic restraint and excellent harmony of components. It is pulpy, succulent, with a tannic and savoury texture, great energy and warmth. It is an important wine, different and unusual, which breaks out of the norm.

Malbo Gentile holds its own with flavorful meats, stewed or roasted, thanks to its structure, such as duck or guinea fowl stew, braised beef.
It is perfect with Emilian-style dishes such as piadina with prosciutto and squacquerone cheese or fried dumplings with mixed cold cuts or zampone or cotechino with mashed potatoes.
The fruity and spicy notes of Malbo Gentile harmonize well with aromatic cuisines.
